A LITTLE AGREEMENT FOR GOOD RIDES

Let’s keep
the city moving well.

These are the MVP pilot rider terms for Siaka, an Arttribute shared mobility project. Final operating-entity, age-eligibility, insurance, cancellation, and service policies require review and publication before public paid launch. A simulation environment does not operate real vehicles or charge real money.

Your account

Provide accurate details, verify your phone before riding, and keep access to your account secure. One active ride is allowed per account. Accounts may be restricted for unresolved balances, unsafe use, or misuse of the platform.

Before you ride

Inspect the vehicle, wear a helmet, follow local traffic requirements, and use the vehicle responsibly. Do not use a damaged vehicle or share it with another rider. Report a problem before riding if anything looks unsafe.

When your ride starts and ends

Billing begins after the vehicle confirms an unlock. A ride ends after parking validation and physical lock confirmation. For locks that close by hand, close the lock yourself and wait for in-app confirmation. Pausing reserves the vehicle and has a separate displayed rate.

Prices and memberships

The app displays prices in Kenyan shillings before purchase and unlock. Each ride preserves its starting pricing version. Pedal-bike membership minutes reset daily at midnight in Nairobi. Electric Pass minutes reset with each paid monthly period. Pedal and electric allowances are separate and do not roll over. Billable ride and pause time each round up to the next minute. Extra riding, unlock fees, and pause rates are shown in your selected plan.

Card memberships purchased through Stripe can renew monthly until cancelled. M-PESA memberships run for the paid month and require another approved payment to renew. Cancellation keeps access through the paid period unless a refund or account restriction applies.

Wallet, outstanding balances, and refunds

Ride charges use your wallet first. Any unpaid amount becomes an outstanding balance that must be settled before another ride. Wallet payments first settle existing debt. Refund requests are reviewed by support and, when approved, are returned through the original payment provider.

Parking and care

Park only in permitted areas shown in the app. Keep access routes clear and secure the bike for the next rider. Never attempt to bypass a lock, interfere with a device, or move a vehicle that is reserved by someone else.

Help when you need it

If a ride, payment, or lock fails, use the support form. Stay with an unsecured vehicle and follow the team’s instructions. For an emergency, contact local emergency services first.
